Delicious and easy candied pecans made in a slow cooker, perfect for snacking or gifting during the holidays.

- 2 cups fresh whole pecans
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Line the slow cooker insert with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, mix pecans, sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until the pecans are coated.
- Pour the mixture into the slow cooker and set to low heat, cooking for about 2 hours and stirring every 30 minutes.
- Once cooked, spread the pecans on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool for about 20 minutes.
- Serve immediately or package for gifting.
Notes
Ensure butter is at room temperature for easy mixing. Optionally add nutmeg or allspice for spiced pecans.
