A hearty, one-pan meal that combines classic sloppy joe flavors with crispy potatoes for a comforting twist on two American favorites – ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
1 pound Ground Beef.
5 small or medium Potatoes.
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
1 medium Onion, chopped.
2 tablespoons Olive Oil.
1 (8 oz) can Tomato Sauce.
1/4 cup Ketchup.
2 tablespoons BBQ Sauce.
1 tablespoon Mustard.
1–2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce.
1 tablespoon Minced Garlic.
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Paprika.
1/2 teaspoon Salt & 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions
- In large skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef, breaking into crumbles. Drain excess fat.
- Add potatoes, onion, and bell pepper. Cook 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are crispy.
- Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire, brown sugar, mustard, and seasonings. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese over top, cover, and cook 2 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot directly from skillet.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, cook potatoes separately in oil first
- Add 1/2 tsp cayenne for spicier version
- Substitute ground turkey and add 1 tbsp olive oil
- Leftovers make great breakfast hash with fried eggs
