Delightfully sweet and chewy no-bake cereal bars that are easily customizable for a healthy snack.
Ingredients

- 3 cups Cheerios or any O-shaped cereal
- 3/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter
- 3/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine peanut butter and honey over medium heat, stirring for 2-3 minutes until smooth and bubbly.
- In a large mixing bowl, pour in the Cheerios.
- Pour the warm peanut butter and honey mixture over the Cheerios and stir gently until coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a lined baking dish, pressing down firmly.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set before cutting into bars.
Notes
Keep leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week, or refrigerate for up to two weeks. These bars can easily be made vegan by using maple syrup instead of honey.
