Description

Easy and delicious sliders made with shredded rotisserie chicken, creamy sauce, and melted cheese on Hawaiian rolls, perfect for game day or any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls)
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice slider buns horizontally and place bottom halves in baking dish.
  3. Mix shredded chicken with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread chicken mixture evenly over bottom bun halves.
  5. Layer cheese slices over chicken mixture.
  6. Place top bun halves over cheese.
  7. Mix melted butter with parsley and poppy seeds. Brush over bun tops.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5-7 more minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For crispier buns, toast bottom halves before assembling
  • Leftovers can be stored in refrigerator for up to 3 days
  • For spicier version, add hot sauce or jalapeños
  • Can be made with turkey or plant-based alternatives
