Ingredients

  • 4 cups cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: bell peppers, carrots, or other vegetables

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add sliced sausage to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until browned.
  3. Toss in sliced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Stir in shredded cabbage and any additional veggies, mixing well.
  5. Continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until the cabbage wilts and softens slightly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
