Description
Perfectly sautéed cremini mushrooms with garlic and herbs, making a delicious side dish or topping for steaks and pasta.

- 1 pound cremini mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add mushrooms in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until golden brown on one side.
- Stir and continue cooking for 5-6 minutes until mushrooms are tender and browned.
- Reduce heat to medium, add garlic and thyme, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season with salt and pepper, then stir in lemon juice and parsley.
- Serve immediately as a side dish or use as a topping.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the pan – cook in batches if needed for better browning.
- For richer flavor, deglaze with 2 tbsp white wine or broth before adding garlic.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
