- 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
- Sea Salt, for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes until bubbly and thickened.
- Pour the hot mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbling and golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top, allowing them to melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle with sea salt if desired, and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
