Description

A delightful holiday treat combining rich chocolate and crunchy peppermint, topped with a sprinkle of sea salt.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa solids)
  • 1 pound white chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth (1-2 minutes).
  3. Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes until set.
  5. Repeat the melting process with the white chocolate until smooth (1-2 minutes).
  6. Pour melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies and sea salt flakes on top.
  8. Refrigerate for another 30-45 minutes until completely set.
  9. Break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to two weeks. Can be made a week in advance.
