Description

A comforting dish featuring rigatoni pasta enveloped in a rich garlic butter parmesan cream sauce, topped with spicy Cajun steak tips.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz Rigatoni Pasta
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 lb Cajun Steak Tips
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the Cajun steak tips for about 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the room-temperature butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and slightly increase the heat. Stir in grated parmesan and season with salt and pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and a luscious sauce forms, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the drained rigatoni to the sauce, using reserved pasta water to adjust consistency as needed.
  6. Mix in the Cajun steak tips until everything is well coated.|
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!

For best results, use fresh garlic and high-quality parmesan cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
