Description
A comforting dish featuring rigatoni pasta enveloped in a rich garlic butter parmesan cream sauce, topped with spicy Cajun steak tips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz Rigatoni Pasta
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 lb Cajun Steak Tips
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the rigatoni in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the Cajun steak tips for about 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the room-temperature butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and slightly increase the heat. Stir in grated parmesan and season with salt and pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and a luscious sauce forms, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the drained rigatoni to the sauce, using reserved pasta water to adjust consistency as needed.
- Mix in the Cajun steak tips until everything is well coated.|
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!
