Description

A rich, spiced syrup combining maple and pumpkin flavors with warm autumn spices. Perfect for enhancing coffee, drizzling over pancakes, or adding to desserts and cocktails.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp maple extract
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine water, brown sugar, and pumpkin puree in medium saucepan
  2. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles
  3. Whisk in cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes more to infuse spices
  5. Remove from heat and stir in maple and vanilla extracts
  6. Cool to room temperature
  7. Transfer to glass jar and store in refrigerator
