Description
A cool, refreshing salad perfect for summer, combining tender shrimp and sweet crab in a zesty dressing.
Ingredients

- 1 lb large shrimp
- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced cucumbers
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil, add a sprinkle of salt and the shrimp. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until pink and opaque, then drain and cool.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard until well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Gently tear the crab meat into smaller pieces and dice the veggies.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled shrimp, crab meat, and diced veggies. Pour over the dressing and toss gently to coat.
- Season with additional salt and pepper if desired. Serve immediately or chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate shrimp in salt and lemon juice before cooking; serve with fresh herbs for garnish.
