Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the chopped dark chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring until smooth for about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar until thoroughly combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition along with the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the chocolate batter until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the fresh raspberries and chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting them into squares.
