Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the fresh cranberries, sugar, and water over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil; stir occasionally until boiling (about 2-3 minutes).
- Reduce to a simmer for 10-12 minutes until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
- Stir in orange juice and cinnamon; combine well.
- Allow to cool slightly (5-10 minutes) before serving.
Notes
This sauce can be refrigerated for up to a week or frozen for three months. Prepare in advance to enhance flavor.
