Description

An impressive and delicious Puff Pastry Christmas Tree filled with warm Nutella, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 puff pastry sheets (10 by 10 inches)
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Icing sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the Nutella in a double boiler or microwave and spread it over one pastry sheet.
  3. Layer the second puff pastry sheet on top and dust with flour.
  4. Cut the dough into a triangle shape and create star shapes with cookie cutter scraps.
  5. Shape the tree by lifting and twisting the dough pieces.
  6. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
