- 2 puff pastry sheets (10 by 10 inches)
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- Icing sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Melt the Nutella in a double boiler or microwave and spread it over one pastry sheet.
- Layer the second puff pastry sheet on top and dust with flour.
- Cut the dough into a triangle shape and create star shapes with cookie cutter scraps.
- Shape the tree by lifting and twisting the dough pieces.
- Brush with egg wash and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust with icing sugar before serving.
