Description

A delightful blend of sweet guava paste and creamy cheese, making for a perfect dip for gatherings and parties.


Ingredients

  • 5 oz guava paste
  • 8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine 5 oz of guava paste with 2 tablespoons of hot water. Blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. In a clean food processor, combine 8 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Season the cream cheese mixture with salt to taste.
  4. Fold the guava mixture into the cream cheese blend until evenly combined.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with crackers, fresh fruits, or toasted bread.
