Description

A comforting Pizza Dip that combines cheese, pepperoni, and pizza sauce for an unforgettable appetizer perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube Pillsbury Classic Pizza Dough (or 14 ounces homemade dough)
  • 12 Babybel Mozzarella Cheese Wheels (or 3 sticks string cheese)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan Bread Dip Seasoning or Italian Seasoning
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni (or your favorite pizza toppings)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface and cut it into 12 squares.
  3. Brush each piece of the dough with egg white for a golden finish.
  4. Set one Mini Babybel Mozzarella Cheese in the center of each square.
  5. Pinch the seams together tightly to avoid leakage.
  6. Brush the tops with egg white again and sprinkle with seasoning.
  7. Butter a skillet, then arrange the cheese-filled pizza dough rounds around the perimeter.
  8. Spread 1/3 cup pizza sauce in the middle of the skillet.
  9. Blend together cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, shredded Parmesan, sour cream, and salt, then spread half over pizza sauce.
  10. Top with 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella and mini pepperoni or your favorite toppings.
  11. Add another 1/3 cup pizza sauce, remaining cheese dip, another 1/3 cup pizza sauce, and the remaining pepperoni.
  12. Bake for 28-30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
  13. Let cool slightly before serving hot with tortilla chips, breadsticks, or vegetables.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality cheese and let cream cheese sit at room temperature before mixing.
