Description

Delicious Pepperoni Cheese Rolls featuring crispy dough, gooey mozzarella cheese, and savory pepperoni. Perfect for snacks or gatherings.

  • 3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll sheets
  • 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups (339 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1 cup (113 g) pepperoni minis, divided
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced (for the topping)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Marinara sauce, warmed, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray.
  2. Roll out each tube of crescent dough into a rectangle (12 x 16 inches).
  3. Mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning and spread it over one sheet of dough.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and a third of the pepperoni over the butter mixture.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into sections.
  6. Shape each section into a cinnamon roll and place in the muffin tin.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Prepare additional garlic butter topping while rolls bake.
  9. Brush the rolls with the garlic butter topping after baking and serve warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

These rolls are customizable; add vegetables or switch cheeses as desired. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
