- 3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll sheets
- 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 cups (339 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 cup (113 g) pepperoni minis, divided
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced (for the topping)
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- Marinara sauce, warmed, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray.
- Roll out each tube of crescent dough into a rectangle (12 x 16 inches).
- Mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning and spread it over one sheet of dough.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and a third of the pepperoni over the butter mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into sections.
- Shape each section into a cinnamon roll and place in the muffin tin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare additional garlic butter topping while rolls bake.
- Brush the rolls with the garlic butter topping after baking and serve warm with marinara sauce.
Notes
These rolls are customizable; add vegetables or switch cheeses as desired. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
