Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and softened butter until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add the egg and beat until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and rolled oats. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the baking dish and bake for about 15 minutes, until golden brown and set around the edges.
  6. Allow to cool in the pan, cut into bars, and serve.
