Ingredients

- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (not natural or oily)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
- Optional: pinch of salt (if using unsalted peanut butter)
Instructions
- In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form—about 2-3 minutes. Place whipped cream in the refrigerator.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter together on medium speed until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Add the sifted powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat until well combined.
- Gently fold one-third of the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture. Then fold in the remaining whipped cream in two additions, maintaining airiness.
- For the best texture, refrigerate the mousse for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. This mousse can be made a day in advance.
