These Peanut Butter Mousse Brownies combine a fudgy brownie base with rich peanut butter mousse, offering a delightful texture and flavor for every chocoholic!

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ⅓ cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 recipe peanut butter mousse, prepared
- Chopped peanuts, for garnish
- Chocolate syrup, for garnish
- Peanut butter, melted for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the baking dish by lining a 9×13-inch dish with parchment paper.
- Mix the dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine the wet ingredients in a stand mixer: eggs, granulated sugar, butter, and vanilla; mix until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
- Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, and mix on low speed until just combined.
- Bake the brownie batter in the prepared dish for 30-35 minutes, until edges are set but the center is shiny or slightly moist.
- Cool the brownies at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Prepare the peanut butter mousse according to your recipe.
- Layer the mousse over the cooled brownies and spread evenly.
- Decorate with chocolate syrup, chopped peanuts, and melted peanut butter.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For an extra gooey brownie, take them out a minute or two early! Make sure to measure your ingredients correctly for best results.
