Description
A healthier, grain-free, and dairy-free version of the classic puppy chow, made with dark chocolate, almond butter, and coconut oil.

- 3 1/2 cups Paleo cereal
- 5 oz dark chocolate (88% cocoa recommended)
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 cup almond butter (natural and unsweetened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (pure)
- 1/4–1/2 cup powdered monk fruit (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the cereal by pouring it into a large mixing bowl and setting aside.
- Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth (about 3-4 minutes).
- Mix in the almond butter and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate until well combined.
- Coat the cereal with the chocolate-almond mixture, mixing until evenly coated.
- Cool in the fridge for about 10 minutes to allow it to set.
- Shake the coated cereal in a baggie with 1/4 cup of powdered monk fruit until fully coated, adjusting sweetness as needed.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
Notes
Ensure almond butter is at room temperature for easier mixing. Use high-quality ingredients for better flavor.
