Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups mixed cheese (sharp cheddar and mozzarella recommended)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional add-ins: sautéed onions, bell peppers, spinach, crumbled bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with room temperature butter.
  4. Stir 2 cups of cheese into the egg mixture, reserving 1 cup for topping.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
