- 2 Cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Cups granulated sugar
- 1 Tsp salt
- 2 1/2 Sticks salted butter (softened)
- 4 Large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 Cup fresh orange juice
- Zest of 3 oranges
- Orange food coloring (as desired)
- 2 1/2 Cups confectioners sugar (for glaze)
- 1/3 Cup fresh orange juice (for glaze)
- 1 Tbsp orange zest (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×13 inch pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt until well combined.
- Add the softened butter and mix on LOW speed until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, orange juice, and orange zest until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, mixing gently on low speed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown around the edges and firm in the center.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour before transferring to a wire rack.
- For the glaze, whisk together confectioners sugar, orange juice, and orange zest until smooth.
- Spread the glaze over the cooled brownies and enjoy!
