Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts, seasoned
  • 1 Cup Rice (long-grain, like basmati or jasmine)
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Fresh Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Sear chicken in skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute.
  6. Stir in rice and cook for another minute.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  9. Nestle chicken back into the skillet, cover with a lid, and reduce heat to low.
  10. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the rice is tender and has absorbed the sauce.
  11. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to use freshly grated Parmesan for optimal creaminess and flavor. Store leftovers properly to enjoy later.
