- 2 Chicken Breasts, seasoned
- 1 Cup Rice (long-grain, like basmati or jasmine)
- 2 Cups Chicken Broth
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Fresh Parsley for Garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Sear chicken in skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute.
- Stir in rice and cook for another minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Nestle chicken back into the skillet, cover with a lid, and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the rice is tender and has absorbed the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Make sure to use freshly grated Parmesan for optimal creaminess and flavor. Store leftovers properly to enjoy later.
