A stunning and festive pastry combining flaky puff pastry and rich Nutella, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 rolls of puff pastry
- 6 tbsp Nutella
- 1 egg (room temperature)
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
Instructions
- Unroll one piece of puff pastry and spread 3 tablespoons of Nutella evenly over the surface, leaving a small edge.
- Unroll the second piece of puff pastry on top and press down gently to adhere.
- Cut out star shapes using a medium-sized star cookie cutter.
- Mark a circle on parchment paper with a large dinner plate.
- Carefully arrange the star cutouts on the marked circle, overlapping them slightly.
- Whisk the egg and brush onto the pastry stars.
- Transfer the parchment paper onto a baking tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan) for 15 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool and serve, dusted with icing sugar.
Notes
Avoid overfilling with Nutella to ensure the pastry puffs up. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
