Description

A rich and creamy no-churn chocolate cherry ice cream, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (476 g) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • Juice reserved from the cherries
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 bar (8 ounces / 226 g) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • ⅔ cup (203 g) hot fudge topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan by placing a 10×7 inch pan in the freezer to chill.
  2. Whip the cream in a stand mixer or a large bowl with a hand mixer, starting at low speed and increasing to high until thick and stiff peaks form.
  3. Mix the reserved cherry juice, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the cherry mixture gently until combined.
  5. Add the chopped cherries and chocolate, reserving 2 tablespoons of each for topping.
  6. Layer half of the ice cream mixture in the chilled pan, drizzle with ⅓ cup hot fudge, and create a marble effect.
  7. Finish with the remaining ice cream on top, drizzle with hot fudge, and swirl gently.
  8. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until solid.
