- Crush the berries over medium heat with a fork or potato masher to release their juices.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Add sugar and lemon juice, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Boil for five minutes, watching carefully to prevent scorching.
- Transfer the hot jam into sterilized jars using a funnel, and seal with lids immediately.
- Cool down jars upside down to create a vacuum seal.
- Store in a cool, dark place for up to two years.
Notes
