Ingredients

- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach
- Fresh mint leaves to taste (about 3-4)
- 1/3–1/2 cup non-dairy milk (such as almond milk)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or 1/4 vanilla bean (scraped)
- 1 tbsp cashew butter
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs or dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 serving vanilla plant protein (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients (banana, spinach, mint, non-dairy milk, vanilla extract, and cashew butter) into your blender, leaving out the cacao nibs or chocolate chips.
- Start blending on low speed, gradually increasing until smooth, using a tamper as needed. If too thick, add more non-dairy milk.
- Add the cacao nibs or chocolate chips and pulse a few times to incorporate.
- Pour into a glass or bowl, adding toppings if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness, and feel free to customize with different nut butters or sweeteners.
