Description

A loveable twist on a classic comfort food, these bite-sized, heart-shaped Mini Grilled Cheese sandwiches are perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • Bread (sourdough, whole grain, or classic white)
  • Sharp cheddar cheese or American cheese
  • Unsalted butter
  • Tomato soup (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes from the bread slices.
  3. Butter one side of each heart-shaped bread slice evenly.
  4. Place cheese between two slices of bread, buttered sides out.
  5. Grill the sandwiches until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve with warm tomato soup for dipping.

Notes
