Ingredients

  • ½ cup powdered sugar, plus additional for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and ½ cup of powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Form the dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes, then roll them in additional powdered sugar while still warm.
  9. Allow to cool completely before serving.
