Description

A delightful twist on traditional chicken, this Melt In Your Mouth Caesar Chicken features tender chicken breasts coated in a creamy Caesar dressing mixture and topped with crispy panko breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Caesar salad dressing mix
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Caesar dressing mix, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until you have a smooth, creamy consistency.
  2. Place the chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the creamy dressing mixture, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden-brown.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs evenly on top of the chicken and press gently to help them adhere.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes or until breadcrumbs are golden and chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F).
  8. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, always check for doneness with a meat thermometer to avoid dry chicken. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
