- 2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the baby carrots in the slow cooker, ensuring they are evenly distributed at the bottom.
- In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the carrots and stir gently to ensure they’re all nicely coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until tender.
- If desired, garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.
