- 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning (divided)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and pound to even thickness (about 1/2 inch).
- Season both sides with 1 tbsp lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high. Add chicken and cook 5-6 minutes per side until golden and 165°F internal temp. Remove.
- Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter, then sauté garlic 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broth, lemon juice, and zest, scraping up browned bits. Simmer 2 minutes.
- Return chicken to pan, spooning sauce over. Sprinkle with remaining lemon pepper.
- Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve with pan sauce.
