- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup powdered monk fruit or erythritol sweetener
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional topping: Fresh raspberries, blueberries, or strawberries
Instructions
- Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes to soften.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cold heavy whipping cream on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered sweetener, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture in batches.
- For a firmer texture, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
- Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and top with fresh berries if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. This mousse can also be made a day ahead for better flavors.
