Description

A rich and decadent keto-friendly chocolate mousse that’s both indulgent and guilt-free.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup powdered monk fruit or erythritol sweetener
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional topping: Fresh raspberries, blueberries, or strawberries

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes to soften.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cold heavy whipping cream on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered sweetener, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture in batches.
  5. For a firmer texture, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
  6. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and top with fresh berries if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. This mousse can also be made a day ahead for better flavors.
