Description

Delicious cookies that blend the classic flavors of Kentucky Butter Cake with the convenience of bite-sized treats.


Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet lightly.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before the next, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and gradually add to the butter mixture until just combined.
  5. Shape cookies onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set.
  7. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  9. Glaze the cooled cookies and serve.
