A refreshing and nutritious smoothie made with kale, mango, and orange, perfect for post-workout recovery or a healthy breakfast.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup packed kale (fresh or frozen, stems removed)
- 2 cups frozen mango chunks
- 1 medium orange (peeled)
- 1 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients. If using fresh kale, wash it and remove the stems, then chop it roughly.
- Put the kale and almond milk in a high-speed blender and blend for about 30 seconds until the kale is fully pureed.
- Add the frozen mango chunks and peeled orange to the blender. Blend on high speed until completely smooth, about 30-45 seconds.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more almond milk or water to reach the desired consistency.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. It can be stored in the fridge for a few hours if needed.
Notes
Experiment with different greens or add protein powder for extra nutrition. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
