Ingredients

  • 1 boneless turkey breast (or bone-in)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Rub that Turkey: Mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub the mixture all over the turkey breast.
  2. Get Cookin’: Place the turkey breast into the slow cooker and pour in the chicken broth.
  3. Set It and Forget It: Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Rest and Slice: Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
