Description

A comforting casserole that combines spicy jalapeños, creamy cheeses, and savory bacon for a delightful twist on traditional jalapeño poppers.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crushed pork rinds (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, diced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
  4. If using, sprinkle the crushed pork rinds on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
