Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1/4 cup honey (or agave syrup for vegan option)
  • 1/4 cup mustard (Dijon or yellow)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the tofu into strips about 1-inch wide.
  3. Combine honey and mustard in a bowl to create a smooth sauce.
  4. Dip each tofu strip into the honey mustard sauce and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Arrange the coated tofu strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
