Description

A warm, creamy queso dip made with a blend of Monterey Jack, white cheddar, and cream cheese, spiced with diced green chiles for a zesty kick.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
  • Spices: chili powder, cumin, cayenne to taste
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and allow the cream cheese to reach room temperature.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine Monterey Jack, white cheddar, cream cheese, and heavy cream. Stir continuously for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Add diced green chiles and spices. Stir for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Continue cooking, stirring often, until the dip is warm throughout.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or veggies.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. If reheating, add a splash of heavy cream if it thickens too much.
