Description

A simple yet incredible way to prepare frozen tofu with layers of flavor in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • Frozen Soft Tofu
  • Frozen Firm or Extra Firm Tofu
  • Oil for Frying
  • Sweet Chili Sauce (Optional)
  • Vegetables and Sauce for Stir Fry (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Thaw the Frozen Soft Tofu in the fridge or in a bowl of room-temperature water for 3 to 4 hours.
  2. Cut the Thawed Soft Tofu into cubes or pieces based on your recipe needs.
  3. Prepare the Frozen Firm or Extra Firm Tofu by pressing out excess water and cutting into larger pieces.
  4. Pan Fry the tofu pieces in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  5. Air Fry the tofu by brushing with oil and cooking at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes, turning halfway through.
  6. Finish by tossing in sweet chili sauce or stir-frying with chosen vegetables until heated through.

Notes

Ensure tofu is at room temperature before cooking. Store cooked tofu in the fridge for up to 5 days.
