- 2 large eggs

- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- In a separate large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the hot fudge sauce and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes.
- Let cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Drizzle with warmed hot fudge sauce and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts before serving.
