Description

A delightful dish marrying zesty lemons, sweet honey, and savory spices for juicy chicken thighs that are hard to resist.


Ingredients

  • 8 Chicken Thighs: Bone-in, skin-on
  • Zest of 2 Lemons
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 2 Lemons: Sliced for garnish
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Flakes: Optional
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Mustard Powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, paprika, garlic powder, mustard powder, and lemon zest. Whisk until well combined. Marinate the chicken thighs for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or Air Fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  3. For oven-baked method: Line a baking sheet with foil, place a wire rack on top, arrange marinated chicken on rack with lemon slices, and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  4. For Air Fryer method: Place marinated chicken skin-side down in the Air Fryer basket, cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, try broiling the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
