Description

Delicious Honey Garlic Shrimp Bowls with succulent shrimp, honey, garlic, and crisp broccoli over rice. A quick and easy family favorite!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
  • Green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the honey garlic mixture and let them marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  4. On a baking sheet, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place the shrimp on the same baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the shrimp are opaque and the broccoli is crispy.
  7. Serve the shrimp over rice with broccoli on the side. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they are perfectly cooked when they curl into a ‘C’ shape.
