Description

A delightful fusion of honey garlic salmon and shrimp served over aromatic garlic butter rice, perfect for cozy dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Salmon: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add the Shrimp: Flip the salmon and add the shrimp to the skillet. Pour the honey garlic mixture over them and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Cook the Rice: In a separate pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and a pinch of salt, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Finish the Rice: Stir in 1 tablespoon of butter and a minced garlic clove to the cooked rice.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Plate the garlic butter rice, top with salmon and shrimp, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Leftover salmon and shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
