Description

A sweet and savory ground turkey dish coated in a sticky honey garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until combined.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the browned turkey and stir to combine.
  5. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the flavors meld and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper as necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
