Description

A delightful Southern American side dish combining sweet honey and creamy butter with tender corn, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 bag (16 oz) frozen corn
  • 2 oz cream cheese, cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat, swirling occasionally to prevent sticking (about 1-2 minutes).
  2. Add the honey and stir until well combined, cooking for an additional 30 seconds until bubbling.
  3. Stir in the frozen corn and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the corn is heated through and tender.
  4. Reduce heat to low and add the cream cheese, stirring until fully melted and blended (2-3 minutes).
  5. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, and serve hot.

Notes

For best flavor, use grass-fed butter and local raw honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
