Crispy and flavorful homemade pork egg rolls filled with seasoned pork and fresh vegetables, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup carrots, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground pork and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add cabbage, grated carrots, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, and ginger. Stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes until veggies are tender.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and place about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling and roll tightly while pulling in the sides. Seal the top corner with a dab of water.
- In a deep pan or fryer, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the egg rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels, then serve warm with dipping sauce.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen before frying for up to 3 months.
