- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 8 ounces dark chocolate (60% cocoa or higher)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, softened butter, peppermint extract, and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix until smooth. Add more milk if needed for consistency.
- Roll mixture into small balls and flatten them into disks on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate the disks for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each peppermint disk into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off.
- Place dipped patties on wax paper to set and cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container for freshness.
Notes
For a crunch, consider adding crushed peppermint candy on top before the chocolate sets.
