Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 cups Water (divided into 1 cup and ½ cup)
  • ½ cup Maple Syrup or Honey
  • 3 tbsp Unflavored Gelatin
  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Bloom the Gelatin: Stir the gelatin into ½ cup of cold water and let it sit for 3-5 minutes until it becomes gel-like.
  2. Boil Your Syrup Mixture: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, maple syrup, and sea salt. Boil for 8 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Combine: Pour the syrup mixture over the bloomed gelatin cautiously.
  4. Whip it Good: Using a mixer, whip the mixture on medium-high for 5-10 minutes until it reaches soft peaks.
  5. Set the Marshmallow: Pour the mixture into a lined 9×13 pan and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set.
  6. Cut and Serve: Once set, cut the marshmallows into squares or shapes and enjoy!
